Every family plays Ludo a little differently, and most games only allow one way. Ludo Ornova ships fifteen rule sets — and the board below runs the same rules engine as the Android app, right in this page.
The app plays with no internet at all — aeroplane mode, a lift, a tunnel, a train. This page needs a browser and nothing else.
Pass and play on one device, or take on the computer. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Rules here are data, not code — one engine runs all of them, which is why the browser board and the app never disagree about what is legal.

The app adds a six-player hexagonal board on top of the classic four-player cross.
Two boards and two rule sets, including the traditional "roll a 1 to start" game.
English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Indonesian.
Everyone round one phone. No accounts, no lobbies, no waiting for a stranger to take their turn.
The Custom set exposes every switch: dice, safe squares, blockades, exact home, victory condition.
The rules are. The app's rules engine was written as plain C# with no game-engine code in it, and this page runs a JavaScript port of that same engine, checked against the same test suite — over six million assertions, including a randomised run across every rule set, both boards and every player count. The app adds things this page does not have: the six-player board, Snakes & Ladders, saved games and nine languages.
No. There is no sign-up, no email box and no login. Open the page and press Start.
No. The whole match runs in your browser — no moves, names or results leave the page. See the privacy policy.
Yes — on one device. Choose two, three or four humans and pass the phone or laptop round. Online play between devices is not part of this page.
Usually one of three rules: you need a 6 to bring a token out of the yard, you need the exact number to finish, or a blockade of two enemy tokens is sitting in the way. Open the rule list under the board — it is generated from the rules actually in play, not written out by hand, so it always matches.
