Our story

Ornova Labs began with a recurring frustration on engineering sites: the work itself was rarely the bottleneck — the paperwork around it was. Presentations rebuilt from scratch every week, site diaries that lived in a notebook nobody could search, travelling-allowance claims reconstructed from memory. Each of these was a small, solvable problem hiding inside a busy day. So we started solving them, one tool at a time.

What started as a few internal utilities became a small catalogue of focused web apps, and Ornova Labs became the home for all of them.

Mission

Give working professionals back their time with software that does one job well, loads instantly, and respects their privacy. We measure success not in features shipped but in hours returned to the people using our tools.

Vision

A growing family of dependable, lightweight applications — covering engineering, productivity, finance, travel and education — that people reach for because the tools simply work and stay out of the way.

Development philosophy

We start from a genuine problem, ship something useful early, and refine it with feedback from the field. We prefer plain, well-written code to heavy dependencies, and we keep our marketing site on lightweight static HTML for exactly the reasons we wrote about here. Our applications use whatever technology genuinely suits them — but never more than they need.

Technology

Our products span static frontends, Node.js services, PHP and Laravel applications, and modern JavaScript front-ends — chosen per product rather than by fashion. The common thread is reliability and speed.

Who's behind it

Ornova Labs is an independent studio shaped by hands-on experience in railway and civil engineering work. That background is why the first products solve field problems so specifically — they came from the field.

Where we're going

The catalogue is built to scale to dozens of products without losing focus. Travel and vehicle-management tools are in development, with finance and education tools on the roadmap. You can always see what's coming on our public roadmap.
