Railway TA docs

Daily movement and travelling-allowance tracking for railway staff.

Installation

Railway TA runs in your web browser — there’s nothing to install. Open the app and you’re ready to go.

Launch Railway TA ↗

Getting Started

  1. Open Railway TA in your browser at /railway-ta/.
  2. Start a new entry or project and add your information.
  3. Let the app handle the structure and output.
  4. Export or share the result when you’re done.

It’s designed for railway field staff who file travelling-allowance claims, so the defaults already match the way that work is usually done.

Features

  • Log daily movement. Capture field visits and journeys as they happen.
  • TA-ready records. Keep the details you need to compile travelling-allowance claims.
  • Monthly view. Review a whole month of movement in one place.
  • Generate statements. Produce a clean movement statement when it’s time to claim.
  • Quick edits. Fix an entry without starting over.
  • Mobile friendly. Add entries from the field on your phone.

Tips

  • Enter information as you go rather than all at once — it’s faster and more accurate.
  • Keep names and labels consistent so your records stay easy to search.
  • Export regularly so you always have a copy of your work.

Best Practices

  • Make daily use a habit; small, regular entries beat occasional big ones.
  • Review your exports to confirm everything captured correctly.
  • Send us feedback — the best improvements come from real use.
